The London School of Management Education (LSME) is pleased to invite you to participate in its Annual International Research Conference on ‘Global Education and the Green Economy’ from 18th – 19th August 2022. This year the Conference will be delivered via a ‘hybrid’ model, with both online and campus-based access to sessions and proceedings available to participants.
This is the 9th iteration of our International Research Conference series, and builds again upon our focus on Responsible Research and Innovations (RRI), featuring our warm welcome and inclusive approach towards researchers, scholars and delegates alike. We offer an inclusive platform for exploring and evaluating ideas drawn from a wide range of cultural, economic, social and organisational perspectives. As such, our Conference encourages all participants to take an active role in the research process, both as contributors and consumers.
Your involvement in this year’s event is crucial to the success of the conference. We welcome your contributions aligned with the theme of “Global Education and the Green Economy.” In particular, we encourage contributions from academic and practitioner perspectives around key and emerging challenges facing humanity and the potential for addressing these via educational and economic activity, especially examples of sustainable and green initiatives.
Researchers and practitioners active in and around this year’s selected theme are asked to share perspectives on the challenges, processes, and outcomes of socially responsible research, especially its impact on communities and stakeholders. As always, we encourage participation from anyone engaged in active research at all stages of the research process.
The broad objectives of the conference series are:
– To provide an inclusive platform fostering an active community of researchers collaborating on issues of social significance and societal concern
– To advance the principles and practices of Responsible Research and Innovations (RRI) in support of researchers at all stages of their research journey
– To provide an open and accessible mechanism for sharing creative contributions to the research agenda across various subject matter and discipline areas.
Hosted by the London School of Management Education (LSME), the conference will feature internationally renowned academics, practitioners and subject experts from a wide range of geographic areas and subject matter disciplines, coordinated by an experienced Conference Committee committed to excellence in conducting and sharing socially responsible research outputs and outcomes.
Within our broad theme, we encourage papers adopting empirical, experimental and theoretical content produced by researchers. We are particularly interested in (but not exclusively committed to):
– Education Management
– Lifelong Learning
– Economic and Social Impact of Education
– Social Impact through the Green Economy
– Innovation in Learning and Education
– Impact of Technology on Education and Green Economy Settings
– Accessibility to Education for the Disadvantaged
– New Perspectives on Global Education
– Global Impact of Green Economy Initiatives
Please feel free to submit a brief outline/abstract of your proposed paper, with a view to full participation and delivery of a conference paper for publication from the 2022 Conference Proceedings.
