London School of Management Education (LSME) organised its Annual International Research Conference on ‘Global Education and the Green Economy’ from 18th – 19th August 2022. The Conference was delivered via a ‘hybrid’ model, with both online and campus-based access to sessions and proceedings available to participants.
This is the 9th iteration of our International Research Conference series building upon the focus on Responsible Research and Innovations (RRI), with a warm welcome and inclusive approach towards researchers, scholars and delegates alike. As its precursors, the 9th Conference was an inclusive platform for exploring and evaluating ideas drawn from a wide range of cultural, economic, social and organisational perspectives. As such, the Conference encouraged all participants to take an active role in the research process, both as contributors and consumers.

The conference was inaugurated by H.E. Dr Ibrahim Hassan, the Minister for Higher Education, Maldives and among the Guests of Honour were Cllr Thavathuay Jeyatharan, the Mayor of Redbridge, Professor Mokgale Makgopa, University of Venda in South Africa, Professor Rajan Welukar, Vice Chancellor of Atlas Skilltech University, Mumbai, India, and Professor Dr Asif Mahbub Karim of the Binary Graduate School in Malaysia. The Valedictory Session was graced by H.E. Dr Durga Bahadur Subedi, the Ambassador of Nepal to Japan along with many dignitaries. The Conference concluded with positive and encouraging comments from the participants. The session has generated much enthusiasm for many participants to attend the next conference.
