International Day of Education

The International Day of Education, celebrated on 24^th January 2025, provided an opportunity to acknowledge the transformative power of education and reflect on its role in shaping societies and futures. This year’s theme, “AI and Education: Human Agency in an Automated World,” focused on the potential of artificial intelligence to enhance educational experiences while empowering human potential. To commemorate the day, LSME students engaged in class-based discussions, followed by a debate led by lecturers on the positive and negative impacts of AI in education. The debate explored how technology, particularly AI, could be leveraged to positively influence learning. This activity was facilitated a meaningful conversation among our students and inspired innovative thinking about the future of education.
