The London School of Management Education (LSME), a leading Higher Education Institution in London Borough of Redbridge, organise the Annual Alumni Meet at its new ultra-modern site, Cambrian House campus in Gants Hill on Friday, 16th February, 2018. This is to enable the LSME alumni to cooperate and collaborate with LSME Senior Management Team in pursuit of the vision of LSME as well aspromote the growth and progress of LSME Alumni Association and its members.
In his opening and welcome speech at the event, the Director of the institution, Dr.Ravi Kumar updated members on recent developments and progress made by LSME and also intimated Alumni members with the future plans of LSME. He announced that LSME is organising an international conference on the theme “Responsible Research and Innovation in Science, Management and Education’’ in association with Panjab University, Chandigarh in India from April 4th to 6th, 2018.
The Guest of Honour at the event was His Excellency, Mr Hassan Shifau, Head of the Mission of The Embassy of Republic of Maldives. In his key note address, he recalled the long standing relationship he had shared with both the Director of the institute Dr Ravi Kumar and the Principal of the institute, Dr Sarita Parhi spanning over a decade had been very fruitful and beneficial. His Excellency recounted, the duo humble and modest beginnings, their forthrightness and steadfastness at the establishment of LSME, and their determination to make it a success against all odds is now the testimony of whatis evident in the event of today.
This year 2018 LSME Annual Alumni event, was quite unique as it was the first to be held in the new LSME ultra-modern campus. Furthermore, it also afforded most members the opportunity to interact with each other, and also to rob minds with the leadership of LSME on several issues.
Dr Sarita Parhi, the Principal of LSME in her remarks, congratulated the newly elected leadership of the LSME Alumni and appealed to all alumni members to close ranks and work closely with the new leadership to achieve the desired goals of the alumni. She also called on all Alumni members to be more involved with the LSME Alumni events by promoting closer cooperation and collaboration with LSME and its vision. She concluded that she anticipates having more visits from the members of the alumni more often so that they can better share ideas on how to work together for the mutual growth of the LSME in general and LSME Alumni in particular.
