The end of the LSME 2016/17 Academic year celebration was held on 14th of July in our Cambrian House premises. The event was attended by invited guests from academic posts in selected UK universities, diplomats, students and staff of LSME. The ceremony was highlighted by the views of our outgoing students from the Diploma in Education and Training, Business and Health and Social Care Classess.
The Executive Director of the institution, Dr Ravi Kumar gave a short welcome address, introducing our guests and the main purpose of event including a brief insight into what learners must expect in the next Academic Year. The importance of student involvement in the achievement of the College was strongly emphasized. He used this opportunity to thank all staff and students for their successful contributions and the need to maintain their level of enthusiasm and motivation for the overall benefit of the institution and its stakeholders.
The Principal, Dr Sarita Parhi offered a warm welcome to our guests and highlighted the achievements and challenges of the 2016/17 Academic Year. In her address, Dr Parhi acknowledged the efforts of all lecturers and students and congratulated the outgoing students for their hard work and dedication.
Our invited guests took turns in offering pieces of advice to outgoing and continuing students. They congratulated the students for their achievement and praised the efforts of the academic staff and management of LSME for being hugely instrumental in guiding and molding the students and for leaving an indelible legacy of achievement, professionalism and an ethos of transforming people with skills. They reiterated the importance of perseverance and hard work and commended the Director and Principal including all staff of the institution for their astounding and relentless efforts.
Some prominent outgoing Students addressed the audience with their heartfelt words on their overall experience in the College from enrolment to course completion. They all expressed their gratitude to the management and staff of the institution for their support and guidance throughout their learning journey.
