London School of Management Education (LSME) offers a range of financial support packages to eligible students under the LSME Access and Participation (AP) Plan 2025-26 – 2028-29.
The Bursary, Hardship and Scholarship Policy provides the purpose, scope and outlines the guiding principles of the financial support stated in the LSME AP Plan. A range of financial support packages is available to eligible students in the specified target groups. These support packages are in the form of discretionary bursaries, hardship funds, and Foundation Year fee waivers, as scholarships offered to domestic undergraduate students, identified following assessment of their eligibility, and administered during the academic year.
In annual resource allocations for students’ financial support, each award is intended to serve a purpose: alleviating challenges or removing certain barriers, and facilitating students’ access to, success in, and progression through higher education. There are various target groups and their challenges, which prevent their attainment of higher education outlined in the AP Plan. Some of these target groups include students with disabilities or special needs, from low household-income families, care leavers, students from low-participating neighbourhoods, refugee background, etc. Financial support is one among several student support measures identified in the AP Plan. Hence, we strive to address the various challenges faced by students in many ways, including academic support, mental health and wellbeing support, and skills development. Students’ eligibility is assessed based on the student data and additional information as required. However, if there is any change in a student’s circumstances, that should be brought to the attention of their lecturers or AP team for a reassessment.
