Repaying Your Student Education Loan
All students in receipt of Tuition fee loans and maintenance loans will need to pay back after their studies. Students on special grants and bursaries do not have to repay. Full-time students begin paying back their student loans once they earn more than £25,000 a year. If your income falls below £25,000 a year, your repayments stop.
