Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF)

We are thrilled to announce that the London School of Management Education (LSME) has been honoured with an overall Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) Silver rating in recognition of our outstanding commitment to delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and outcomes for our students. This public recognition reflects our dedication to providing an outstanding quality of educational experience which was rated as Gold and the high quality student outcomes rated as Silver. These ratings were awarded in September 2023.

TEF is the national assessment in the United Kingdom that evaluates the quality of teaching, learning environments and student outcomes in higher education institutions. Institutions are awarded Gold, Silver, or Bronze categories which signify increasing degrees of performance above minimum quality requirements. A provider receives a lower category of ‘requires improvement’ if it has not shown enough evidence of performance above the minimum quality requirements.

As an independent Higher Education Provider in a highly competitive and increasingly regulated sector, we are honoured to have been rated so highly against the criteria used by the Office for Students (OfS) in judging the effectiveness and quality of our teaching provision.

This outstanding and high quality provision benefits all of our students, including students from underrepresented groups which constitute a high proportion of LSME’s students.
