International Research Conference 2026

13th LSME International Research Conference on AI and Quality Education

  • DATE: 28 - 29 October 2026LOCATION: ONLINE

Overview

The London School of Management Education (LSME) is delighted to announce the 13th edition of our International Conference series on Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI), with this year’s theme: “AI and Quality Education”.

Taking place online over two days (28–29 October 2026), this conference invites researchers, academics, and practitioners to explore how advances in artificial intelligence can drive positive, equitable outcomes in education at all levels—from early years to lifelong learning.

Building on the success of our 2025 event, we continue to place Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) at the heart of our mission, ensuring that technological progress serves social justice, inclusion, and sustainable development.

Background to the Theme

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming educational landscapes worldwide. From personalised learning platforms to automated assessment tools, AI offers unprecedented opportunities to enhance access, engagement, and outcomes.

Yet with opportunity comes responsibility. This conference seeks contributions that critically examine:

  • How AI can reduce disadvantage and support disenfranchised learners
  • Ethical frameworks for deploying AI in educational settings
  • The balance between innovation, privacy, and pedagogical integrity
  • Practical strategies for educators, policymakers, and technologists to collaborate

We welcome diverse perspectives across Education, Sustainability & the Green Economy, Business, Research Practice, AI Technology, and Mental Health.

Conference Mission

Aligned with the Responsible Research and Innovation agenda, our mission is to:

  • Promote social justice, inclusion and equity in education
  • Increase the influence of research on policy and practice in key impact areas
  • Foster active, ethical participation from researchers at all career stages

These principles apply equally to all participants: presenters, delegates, academic observers, and the wider communities impacted by educational research.

Conference Objectives

Since 2015, our core objectives have remained focused on:

  • Providing an inclusive platform for researchers collaborating on issues of social significance.
  • Advancing RRI principles to support researchers throughout their journey.
  • Creating an open, accessible mechanism for sharing creative, cross-disciplinary contributions.

Call for Abstracts

We invite submissions that address questions of:

  • Practice: What should be done?
  • Theory: Why should it be done that way?
  • Practical Process: How should it be done—and what are the implications?

We especially encourage:

  • Cross-disciplinary collaboration
  • Early career researchers
  • Original, critical, and creative thinking
  • Research with clear practical application and impact
